Keeping it Local

In an ever-changing economy and a lull in employment growth, it’s no wonder so many of our good people in this community are becoming entrepreneurs almost overnight!

Oh, don’t get me wrong, I’m the first one in line at Wal-Mart on Black Friday, but when it comes down to it, I’d rather buy a unique gift from a local vendor over a chain store ANY day!  And WOW did we recently see a turnout from people who obviously feel the same way!

Our first Annual Christmas Open House was held last weekend and the Christmas spirit was definitely in the air!  Sunny Belle was one of five vendors in Addis, Louisiana offering beautiful and unique gifts to a variety of consumers!

Jennifer Tullier is an independent consultant for Scentsy and she had her home smelling like a winter wonderland!  It’s no surprise that everyone was scooping up scents of the season!  Check her Scentsy Facebook page today!

Chrissie Gubancsik represented her company, “Gabbie Goodies” which offers the in-demand and trendy bottle cap jewelry that’s got kids from ages 2 to 20 going crazy for the latest designs!  Friend her on Facebook at Gabbie Goodies and check out her great selection today!

Jacie Engemann stole the show with her adorable embroidery designs from her business, “Sassy Stitches”.  I truly believe there is nothing this woman can’t do!

Get in line early if you want something “stitched” because Jacie is up to her ears in orders!  Check out some of the beautiful things she has to offer at Sassy Stitches!

Lacey Landry worked as the perfect complement to Sassy Stitches with Lil Diva's Hairbows and Tutus!

If you need a bow, this lady is bound to have exactly what you are looking for! And she makes the perfect model for Sassy Stitches’ chef hat and apron, doesn’t she?

Last but not least, Sunny Belle joined the crew with a huge variety of hand painted glassware and ceramics.  The plates were the biggest hit!  Wow!  Who knew how popular family Christmas plates and Cookies for Santa plates would be?

Sunny Belle also had lots of unique wine glasses, ornaments and even canisters!  There’s always something for everyone on your list at www.sunnybelle.com.

"Favorite message" glasses can be personalized any way you wish!

And chalkboard glasses have been a real hit this year!  Just jot your name down on the glass and never bother with a mix-up again!

Sunny Belle will donate 25% of all sales in November to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to support the Feed a Family Campaign! Order today and know that you've helped put food on someone's table this holiday season.

Don’t delay in making your Sunny Belle gift list because the deadline for ordering gifts in time for Christmas is November 26!

Thanks to everyone who supported our local vendors and community.  Together we make a great team!  See you next year!  Until then... happy shopping!

Sip and Shop!

For all you locals (South Louisiana locals, specifically, West Baton Rougeans), my friends and I are giving you a chance to sip and shop!  Come enjoy a glass of wine or a cold drink and some holiday fare while you peruse great items from four local vendors (including Sunny Belle, of course)!  See invitation below and e-mail me with any questions.  Hope to see you there!
